  1. My daughter has kept a pet python since she was ten or so. While I had no trouble watching them eat the grown rats and mice, I couldn't bear to watch them eat the little pinkies. It is human 'morality' perhaps, to feel a bit of remorse over watching some tiny new life end on such a harsh note. (Dee)

  2. For a lot of people, the disturbing part is seeing a "lower" animal like a reptile eating a mammal.

  3. I for one agree with Dee... to me it is not really about the snake being a "lower" animal, but rather about the mice being so young. I even dislike the thought of insect larvae being killed for the same reason!

    Snakes gotta feed, tho. :/
