I have a Min Pin that tries to do the same thing to vacuum cleaners lol.
You know, if that crocodile in Neverland had swallowed a lawn mower instead of a clock, he wouldn't have caught Captain Hook at the end...
I remember reading about big saltwater crocodiles that attack boat motors. Seems to be something about these mechanical gadgets that upsets crocs--and other animals, such as great white sharks. (And dogs, apparently!)
I suposse it must be the low vibrations, as crocodiles are known to use infrasound to communicate over long distances (maybe they mistake it, or just find it annoyingly similar, to a rival crocodile's territorial or challenging call?)Sharks are also attracted by certain vibrations ... as for dogs, well, they're just looking for an excuse to bark at something XD
Makes sense, especially for the boat attacks. In the case I'm remembering, the croc didn't even take an interest in the humans inside the boat. He just seemed to want to attack the motor. I don't know about this guy with the lawn mower, though. He's taking it into the water, as if it were prey?
Probably hoped that the guy wouldn´t let go of the lawn mower? After all, salties are famous for taking any chance to drag their keepers into the water...
I want to take this moment to say that I really love this blog. It has been a good resource of information for me. Thank you so much
Thank you for reading!
