    Being rainy season we've been getting blind snakes slithering out of the shower drain... at first everyone thought they were earthworms until I noticed how they actually moved...

  2. They top out at around 40cm.

    Much as I love reptiles, I don't think I'd enjoy meeting them in the shower.

  5. For US readers--the cantil is a close relative of the water moccasin and the copperhead.
